Service Manager – Handling Equipment

We are looking for a Service Manager, for a materials handling equipment company based in Cork.

This is an office based role where you will be responsible for the daily management of a team of field based service engineers, ensuring all service, maintenance and repair calls are completed on time, efficiently and effectively.

We are looking for someone with excellent initiative, drive, and dedication, with an appetite to grow and develop both commercially and operationally.

Responsibilities to include the following:

• Management of a team of engineers in the Munster area
• Management of the Service Schedules ensuring that all service maintenances are carried out on time
• Oversee the quotation process for projects on larger sites
• Ensuring all service audits are completed and passed and that all KPI’S are met
• Adhering to all processes and procedures to meet with targets
• Account management including the monitoring of full-service costs to insure the profitability of the accounts
• To ensure regular communication with customers, finance department and senior management team
• Liaising with the technical department to ensure site engineers receive technical support as required
• Provide team leadership and direction including carrying out regular reviews and assessments with Engineers
