Clinical Nurse – Cork

We are recruiting for a Clinical Nurse for our client a leading eye care clinic with clinics nationwide.

Positions available in Cork & Kildare.

You must have a valid nursing qualification and NMBI registered.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with eye disorders, injuries, and diseases.

Full training will be provided to include the Ophthalmology JACHPO training program.

Fast Track to CNM1: This role serves as a fast-track opportunity for ambitious individuals looking to progress to the CNM1 level.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the team of Consultant Ophthalmologists, Optometrists and Ophthalmic Technicians to provide excellent care to patients
• Prioritise casualty nurse appointments
• Manage emergencies to include chemical injuries, resuscitation, administer pain medications and intravenous medications
• Advise the exact diagnostics to be performed
• Be the point of contact for casualty patients
• Perform ophthalmic assessments as and when required
• Complete and follow up on incident forms as needed
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and trust
