Overview of role:



CRL Recruitment are currently recruiting for an IT Support Technician for our client in the Medical Devices industry based in Dublin 18. This is a full-time, permanent role with an attractive salary of €35-40K DOE.


Provide first and second level IT support services to the business.

Interact with users via telephone and e-mail to provide technical support and resolve problems.

Maintaining the helpdesk, ensuring issues are logged and users are kept up to date on their status.

Liaise with 3rd party service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Work with other IT team members to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.

Demonstrable experience of some of the following:

Windows 2012/2016 Server Admin, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCPIP

Windows 7/8/10 and PC applications

Wired and Wireless LAN infrastructure

Microsoft Exchange/Outlook/O365

Windows Security and Print Server administration

PC and Laptop hardware maintenance

ServiceDesk technologies, Fresh Service or equivalent


Desirable Experience:

Microsoft DPM, Triton Websense, SQL Server, McAfee Anti-Virus(EPO), WSUS,

PBX Admin (Siemens), Cloud PABX (NFON), MS Hyper-V, Smartphones, Microsoft Office

Remote Support Technologies.


ITIL Qualification.

3rd level qualification in IT.

A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an IT support role.

Excellent Customer Service Experience.

Proven technical problem solving skills.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team, to multitask and to prioritise work.

Good communicator, comfortable dealing with people at all levels of the business.

The ability to adapt to new tasks and flexibility in approach to work.

Flexibility to travel to other group locations, full driver’s licence (own transport would be beneficial).

Keen interest in developing IT expertise.
