Description:

 

We are actively seeking a Quality, Health & Safety Environmental (QHSE) Manager for our client, an award-winning logistics and distribution company in North Dublin.

You will be tasked with leading Health & Safety for all departments, assessing all safety procedures to ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.

Your previous experience will ideally be in Logistics, Warehousing or Supply Chain environments, and you will have the ability to drive processes in all departments helping to raise and improve standards where needed.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide informed advice to all managers and staff on matters of associated legislation, best practices, and the correct interpretation of defined standards
  • Ensure the Company Health & Safety Statement and Policies and Environmental Management System Manual & Policies are developed and implemented consistently across the organization
  • Manage the Facilities register & vendor management across the business
  • Identify and investigate all Health and Safety incidents throughout the organization and record them on the QHSE dashboard
  • Log and track internal accident investigations across the organization
  • Look for improvements and develop new, more efficient procedures
  • Carry out audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the QHSE systems and procedures
  • Report on all significant non-compliance to Health and Safety protocols and provide monthly updates to Senior Management
  • Track relevant Health and Safety Training for all staff members such as Fork Truck & PPT Licensing; Manual Handling, Ergonomic Assessments, etc and maintain training records for all staff

 

Requirements:

 

  • Hold relevant QHSE qualifications
  • Five years’ experience, ideally in a similar sector and with Quality aspect as an integral requirement
  • Be knowledgeable with all aspects of the QHSE standards, relevant legislation, and compliance requirements
  • Have excellent verbal and written English with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Be computer literate and proficient with all Microsoft Suites
  • Dynamic & dedicated with proven levels of high performance

 

Offer

  • Starting Salary of €65k+ available to the right candidate, DOE
