Account & Inside Sales Executive

Overview of role:


We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Account & Inside Sales Executive for a large medical supplies company based in Dublin West / Meath area

The purpose of this role is to sell client products & services to customers including individuals, businesses and government organisations. Sales may be domestic or international, or a combination of both

Developing trusted relationships with a portfolio of clients and expanding the relationships with existing customers




  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of client products and services
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Cold calling potential customers, establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly
  • 25 telephone calls are required daily along with contact with up to and not limited to 10 Lead /Prospects weekly
  • Acknowledge and following up within 24 hours on sales enquiries and sending out information to the customer
  • Following up on leads generated by other departments
  • Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by Sales Director
  • Entering all required data for sales onto the company system – updating NetSuite and inputting information on customers
  • Responding to incoming email, fax and phone enquiries within 24 hours
  • Acting as a contact between client and its existing and potential markets
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Gathering market and customer information and discuss opportunities with the Sales Director and purchasing
  • Representing client at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors and relaying to sales director/purchasing
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
  • Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer




  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role and professional environment
  • Experience in using NetSuite would be an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong problem solving skills
  • Advanced in all Microsoft Office
  • Proven to have strong communications skills


On Offer:

Salary of €32K to €34K depending on experience.

Up to €5K bonus plus benefits including contribution to pension.
