Description:

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant 

Responsibilities:

    • Financial Accounts Preparation
  • Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts to strict reporting deadlines
  • The analysis of accounts, journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations and other month end processing
  • Budgeting and forecasting reports
  • Working Capital reviews to meet strict reporting targets, including the approval of supplier payments and monitoring of current Debtors
  • Conduct financial and pricing analysis of all service and parts to ensure the adherence to cost, gross margin and EBIT targets
  • Undertake proactive analysis and reporting to meet Monthly, Quarterly and Annual company budgets and forecasts
  • Preparation and filing of statutory accounts and co-ordination of the annual audit
    • Project Contract Administration
  • Update and upload Projects on the internal IT systems ensuring current revisions are maintained at all times
  • Monitor the execution of Project Contracts to ensure the successful delivery to customer requirements and to meet gross margin targets
  • Monitoring of Project invoicing and client payments to ensure working capital targets are met
  • Take ownership for resolving all Project Costing queries
    • Taxation Preparation
    • Payroll Administration
    • Financial Administration

 

Requirements:

Suitable candidate should have the following:

  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years experience as an Accounts Assistant covering the above
  • Part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent education is required
  • Experience in management accounts preparation, contract analysis, and payroll and expenses administration is essential
  • Microsoft and Google software skills are compulsory
  • Previous finance and payroll experience within a small to medium-sized business is preferred

Salary on this role ranges from €35K to €40K depending on experience
