CRL Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager for our client in the FMCG industry based in South Dublin.
This position will report to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for maintain and developing key on-trade accounts. It is a full-time, permanent role with excellent package on offer to the successful candidate and salary of €50-55K DOE.
Maintain and develop on trade sales opportunities and increase profitability for the portfolio.
Manage the development of key relationships to enhance product knowledge, optimise sales, opportunities and negotiate new business opportunities.
Manage the development and implementation of company brands within the trade, by working closely with the sales management team and ensuring delivery of key agreed volume and margin targets.
Identify and drive the implementation of key commercial business initiatives to increase sales and optimise growth.
Identify sales volume/value growth opportunities through analysis of customer and marketing performance information.
Manage the development of key on trade outlets to enhance product recognition, optimise sales opportunities and negotiate larger key account deals.
Develop and consolidate highly effective business relationships with key on-trade representative groups and key on-trade accounts to enhance product recognition, optimise sales opportunities and negotiate key large account deals.
Maintain a strong awareness and understanding of the alcohol and licensed trade market and consumer changes to anticipate any potential risk.
5+ years’ experience of working in on trade with direct management of key accounts at a senior level.
Experience in identifying and delivering key business development opportunities and managing the opportunity to closure.
Experience of working with Senior Management, contributing to the development and delivery of the sales strategy.
Developing viable and commercial sales opportunities.
Proven track record in sales, negotiations & stakeholder buy-in.
Knowledge and experience in budgetary and financial management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to communicate at all levels.
Strong commercial awareness, customer focused, and results driven.
