We are currently looking to recruit a Training Manager for a Electrical and Electronic Manufacturing company based in Dublin West area
Must be a self-starter who will advise the training road map for the global business.
To assume overall responsibility for training for company with the support of Technical
This includes all sales and support teams.
To develop and administer product training for employees in the UK, Ireland and Europe, also assist in the product training plans for Australia and New Zealand.
To assess training and development needs within the Sales teams and help individuals and groups develop skills and knowledge relative to their roles within the company.
Create training materials (Presentations, Videos, Articles, eBooks etc.) for company personnel and customers. To present in-person and on-line training sessions and monitor the training effectiveness, using the latest technology and techniques.
Must have qualifications for providing CPD’s in Ireland and the UK.
The role will include travel to the UK monthly , between 2-5 days.
To manage and promote the Training Portal.
To develop, manage and maintain a rolling plan for Product, Contractor and CPD training for the relevant calendar year. This includes AU/NZ.
Determine product training needs and requirements for the Sales teams and customers by meeting with managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys.
Train UK and EU ASM’s on new and existing products to the required level of knowledge to enable them to understand what the product is, what it does and the features and benefits of the product in order for them to sell our products with confidence to meet GP targets. This will be carried out as part of regional meetings, dedicated training days, online and field accompaniment where appropriate.
Train all new ASM’s as part of their induction period:
- Basic electrical parameters and terminology
- Lighting terminology
- Photometric terminology
- Building Regulations
- Lighting guidelines
To a level of knowledge and understanding on the top 150 products, so that they can present and demonstrate the products to their customers with confidence.
Provide and update as required high quality Energy saving & payback calculation tools for use by ASM’s and others to enable them to show that our products will provide energy and maintenance savings and payback as an aid to selling our products.
Provide and update as required project calculation tools for use on larger projects.
Provide photometric design file analysis on our major light source products as they are introduced and where appropriate provide competitor photometric analysis
Group staff to show the performance selling points of our products.
Train external people (wholesalers, contractors, consultants, lighting designers, end users) on our products to provide them with an understanding and knowledge of the products such they will see them positively, understand the value of the products and want to use them
Salary on offer will very much depend on experience ranging at €55K + Benefits
