Vehicle Maintenance Administrator

Overview of role:


We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Maintenance Administrator, for our award-winning client in the transport and logistics sector based in North Dublin.




  • Placing purchase orders with suppliers
  • Monitoring service and repair system for spare parts required
  • Ensuring all requisitions for spare parts are actioned as appropriate
  • Maintaining adequate inventory levels
  • Using system to optimise stock, i.e. minimise stock outages, obsolescence and back orders
  • Goods receipt processing and investigation of supplier queries
  • Conducting cycle counts
  • Documenting vehicle checks and maintenance of service records
  • Ensure ‘Return to Vendor’ process is expedited and up to date
  • Adherence to all policies and procedures as per SOP’s
  • Carry out all activities in compliance with company, EHS & regulatory requirements
  • Ad-hoc duties as required




  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an inventory control or parts administration role ideally within the automotive industry or similar
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP experience is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to analyse and assess information and to communicate to senior management
  • Capability of working on own initiative and within a team as required
  • Strong internal & external customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines


This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours typically Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.30pm.

The starting salary for this role is €38K – €40K DOE.
